Qurtuba Honors Academy was established to provide families in the Nashville area with an educational environment that combines academic rigor, strong Islamic identity formation, and purposeful student development.
Inspired by the historical legacy of Qurtuba (Córdoba)—a center of scholarship where faith and intellectual pursuit were deeply connected—the academy seeks to cultivate students who are disciplined in thought, grounded in character, and prepared to contribute meaningfully to society.
The academy’s educational philosophy reflects a belief that intellectual growth and character development should remain deeply connected. Students are encouraged to pursue knowledge with excellence while developing the habits, integrity, and sense of purpose necessary to lead meaningful lives.

Qurtuba Honors Academy is being developed with a long-term commitment to educational continuity, academic excellence, and intentional student formation.
While initially launching at the elementary level, the academy’s long-term vision includes the continued development of a full K–12 educational pathway designed to support students through multiple stages of academic and personal growth.
The academy maintains intentionally small class sizes to support individualized attention, strong teacher-student relationships, and a calm, structured academic environment.
